What is ClubMac?

ClubMac is for people who are interested in the Apple Mac platform. We provide an opportunity for people new to Apple computers, iPads and/or iPhones (as well as experienced hands) to meet and to learn how to get the best out of their Mac in a friendly, relaxed and supportive environment.

Monthly meetings

At our monthly meetings — which take place on the first Wednesday of every month between September and May (with the exception of January) — we aim to answer questions that people may have with their Mac, provide them with up-to-date news on all things Apple and inform them about those little-known but often very useful software applications.

With some exceptions, our meetings are mostly held in Merrion Cricket Club which is situated on Anglesea Road in Ballsbridge. We have been meeting there since time immemorial.

Our monthly meetings follow a standard agenda: the doors normally open from 7.30 p.m. and the meeting typically starts shortly afterwards.

The agenda for the meeting follows standard lines as follows:

  • Training session with Noel Davidson;
  • Technical Q&A chaired by Peter O’Reilly;
  • What’s New in the world of Apple.

To find out when the next monthly meeting and what will be covered, you should check out our bulletin board. The Bulletin Board is also a very important resource; if you’ve got a problem, post it on the bulletin board (you must register first — it’s free) and our helpful band of Apple gurus will do their best to sort you out.

ClubMac has a Facebook page and this too is a useful source of information on upcoming monthly meetings (link).

2017 Autumn training programme

Noel Davidson of the Entrepreneurs Academy will be delivering ClubMac’s 2017 Autumn training programme which while aimed at beginners to the Mac platform will be relevant to all users.
